. Gubar Borisoglebskii district of Voronezh region. Russian. He graduated from the 8 classes of secondary schools in 1940 and courses divers. On the eve of the war, he worked as a diver in Balashov. In September 1941 he was drafted into the Red Army. Until April 1942 he studied at Volskaya aircraft mechanic school, then graduated from the 1 st artillery Leningrad Red Banner School named Red October and was promoted to lieutenant.

F orsirovat Dnepr Peter Ryabykh had twice: in September and November 1943. The first time he crossed the Dnieper to the south of Zaporizhzhya with the infantry. In November, our troops in this sector have launched the fighting to force the Dnieper and the expansion of previously captured bridgeheads. On the morning of November 26, Lieutenant Ryabykh with his platoon and two guns batteries crossed the river near the village of Balabino in the first assault squad. Knocking persistently resisting the enemy, our troops by the end of the day, liberated village Alekseevka and take up defensive positions on its western outskirts.

Ryabykh assembled a platoon of management and in the vicinity on foot and led them to the rescue of their comrades. Vegetable gardens, streets of the village and corn field, the men made their way to the battery. The Nazis had already laid in the barrels of the guns trinitrotoluene block, intended to blow them. Grenades and machine-gun fire, our men fought their way to the guns. Lieutenant Ryabykh went ahead with a gun, encouraging his fellow. He shot a German officer and eight soldiers.
