Member of the Great Patriotic War on April 1942. He commanded an infantry brigade, division. At the final stage of the war БT Commander 121 Infantry Corps. Corps under his command June 24, 1944 broke through the heavily fortified defenses north-east of the city Chaussy (Mogilev region), crossed the river Pronya and seized a bridgehead on its right bank.
