W echulin Vladimir Ilyich pilot test. Born March 9, 1937 in Voronezh. Russian by nationality. He graduated from Voronezh Aeroclub. In the Soviet army from 1954. In 1955 he graduated from the 6-th military aviation school initial training of pilots, in 1958 БT Bataisk Military Aviation School in 1960 БT Higher officer aviation training schools (Grozny). In 1958-1962 БT pilot-instructor Bataisk VAUL. Since 1962 БT in stock.
From 1963 to December 1978 at БT flight test work at an aircraft factory Banner of Labor Б• Б•L (currently БT Moscow Aircraft Production Association) in the city Luhovicy Moscow region. He experienced production supersonic fighter Su-9, Su-11, MiG-21, MiG-23 and their modifications.

In action on Aug. 22, 1983. He was buried in Moscow, Khimki cemetery.
Test pilot class 1, Major. He was awarded the Order of Lenin, the Red Star and medals.
