In the Navy from 1934. In 1937 he graduated from the Command class Training Detachment Diving. He served on submarines of the Pacific Fleet. In 1942-1943 participated in the transition of submarines from the Pacific Ocean into the North Sea.
Member of the Great Patriotic War, March 1943. In his role as commander of the submarine S-56 Б• Б•?. By August 1944, 8 to battle campaigns. Sank 3 Transport, 2 tanker, a destroyer, 2 patrol boats of the enemy.
