Biography Eusebius (Eusebius Vercellensis)
Eusebius; Eusebius Vercellensis; of Vercellae, Latin Christian writer, Bishop Vercellae in 345-371 years. Occurred in Sardinia, education received in Rome. In his role as bishop Vercellae was charged antiarianskoy activities and removed in exile in the East. Under the name of E. kept writing polemical nature against the Arians of the Trinity (De Trinitate; authenticity doubtful), and three letters. We also have 7 letters addressed to E.. According to tradition, E. personally rewrote the famous Codex Vercellensis, containing a Latin translation of the Gospels.
