Lukilly; Lukilios, Latin. Lucuillius, I in. n. e., Greek poet, epigrammatik. One of the first authors of the satirical epigrams. He worked in Rome, apparently, under Nero. Palatine anthology retained approximately. 100 epigrams L. Among them are parodies of the funeral epigrams, willingly the emerging Alexandrian poets, satirical epigrams, deride various crafts, flawed character and physical disabilities, as well as certain practices at feasts. Epigrams L., concise form (usually consisting of two poems), often witty and evidence of the author's observation, sometimes oppress constant repetitions of motives. L. mocking attitsizmom (cm. Retrieve Fate of ancient literature), and writes in a language that approximates the spoken language. Creative L. influenced, among others in the Martial, palladium.
