His main scientific works related to radio physics, radio engineering, the theory of nonlinear oscillations. Many of his theoretical development immediately introduced into production. For example, in the first domestic generator tubes he first applied to the filament electrodes of the high-frequency induction heating. New found a place in the tube receivers for the army. Gave it a study and by radiotelephone. Contributed N. Papaleksi and the theory of nonlinear oscillations, in particular, discovered the phenomenon of resonance and asynchronous excitation, creating a fundamentally new generators, and developed methods for studying the interference of radio wave propagation. He is one of the first domestic scholars put forward the idea of lunar radar. From 1939 - Academician. In 1942 awarded the State Prize.
