Biography Vasyutin Vladimir Vladimirovich
Astronaut Russia. Born March 8, 1952 in Kharkov, Ukrainian SSR (now - Republic of Ukraine). In 1973 he graduated from the Kharkov Higher Military Aviation School behalf SI Gritsevets. After graduating from college he served in the Air Forces of the USSR as a pilot instructor. During flight operations mastered several types of aircraft. He graduated from the Test Pilot School, worked as a test pilot. In 1976 he enlisted in the detachment of Soviet cosmonauts (1976 Group of the Air Force? 6). It has been a full course of general space training and preparing to fly aboard the type of the Soyuz T and orbital stations Salyut.
In February and July 1984 was part of the backup crews during flights of Soyuz T-10B "and" Soyuz T-12 ".
