. Research interests: the study of ore minerals, geologic structures of ore fields and deposits, the problem of laws governing the formation and deployment of non-ferrous metal deposits of the Urals, Altai, the Caucasus
. They identified several features of polygenic and Polichrono education ores, developed the basic principles and methods of preparation forecasting-metallogenic maps of ore districts in the areas paleovolcanic. For the pyrite-bearing provinces of paleovolcanic implemented method of analysis, based on Paleoreconstructions volcanic structures and paleofatsialnyh studies of ore-bearing systems, the example of the Altai, the Urals, the Caucasus and the Balkans. They were nominated position on the extent of ore-bearing zones and belts, . folded sharply or poorly differentiated, . intermittently or continuously differentiated magmatic formations, . thus established the important role of volcanogenic-ore Centers, . submitted volcano-tectonic uplift or depression, . which clarified the peculiarities of their deep structure,
. Created original classification of ore-bearing volcanic structures evgeosinklinaley. Found paleovulcanic search features. Develop rational methods for complex searches of pyrite-polymetallic deposits in the Rudny Altai, t.ch. not coming to the surface of the Earth. Together with other geologists developed the scientific and methodological basis of forecasting-metallogenic maps Rudny Altai, and participated in its drafting. On the basis of scientific geological prognosis for his involvement was discovered several mineral deposits, among them a large lead-zinc deposit Tishinsky, for which in 1963. in a team of geologists in Kazakhstan, he was awarded the Lenin Prize. He worked as head of the Party in the Kirgiz Geological Survey (1945-1946), then a senior geologist of the party Sredtsvetmetrazvedka Trust (1946-1948), first at Chauvayskom mercury ore field, and then Tereksko Kasan-antimony ore field. On the basis of the collected materials master's thesis Geological structure Tereksko Kasan-ore field. Since 1949. worked as head of the Party, . a senior geologist of the parties ore-Altai expedition Aerogeologicheskogo-Union Trust, . studied the geology of pyrite-polymetallic deposits in several areas of Rudny Altai (Shemonaikha, . Verhubinskogo, . Leninogorsk),
. Doctoral dissertation topic: The tectonic structure of the Rudny Altai, the history of their development and significance in the distribution of polymetallic deposits.

. For many years he lectured at the rate of ore deposits, and has lectured and conducted workshops at the rate structures of ore fields, which published a textbook (1982)
. He has lectured at Warsaw and Belgrade University in Cracow Mining Academy.

By 27 candidates.

He has published over 200 scientific papers, t.ch. 10 books.
Major works:

- Course of ore deposits (co-author, Ed. Smirnov, 1981),
- Studies of mineral deposits (co-author, Ed. Smirnov, 1983),
. - Geological structure of ore fields and deposits (1982),
. - Paleovolcanic analysis of pyrite provinces (for example, Rudny Altai) (co-author, 1984),
