Born August 24, 1928, Mr.. He graduated from the Geological Department, Moscow State University Department of Palaeontology (1951).

Candidate of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences (1955), Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences (1984). Senior Research Fellow Department of Palaeontology Geological Faculty (1986).

Member of the Moscow Society of Naturalists (1963). A member of a specialized council on the stratigraphy and paleontology at MSU. Member of the editorial board of the journal Paleontology.

Research interests: to investigate the fossil representatives of unicellular organisms, foraminifera from the Upper Jurassic and Lower Cretaceous sediments of different regions of the former USSR (Crimea, . Caucasus, . Eastern Carpathians, . East European platform) and other countries (France, . Switzerland, . Italy, . and the Atlantic Ocean - from wells deep drilling),
. Has systematic composition of foraminifera in Lower Cretaceous sediments of the Crimea and North Caucasus. Described their distribution in time, held a series of stratigraphic division of cuts in these regions. The first fully described the formation of planktonic life forms in foraminifera, . found ways and laws of the early evolution of plankton, . identified phasing of its development, . especially paleobiogeografii globally, . built paleobiogeographical Cards,
. Based on the study of morphology, . Systematics, . phylogeny and distribution of singularities in time and space of benthic and planktonic foraminifera suggested stratigraphic zonal schemes for the dismemberment of the Lower Cretaceous sediments of the south of the former USSR,

In her honor called genera and species of foraminifera: Gorbachikella, Hedbergella gorbachikae, Praehedbergella tatiana, Quinqueloculina gorbachikae, Bitaxia gorbachikae and zone Hedbergella gorbachikae in Western stratigraphic scheme. Topic of Ph.D. thesis: Hizhnemelovye foraminifera Crimea and North Caucasus. Subject doctoral dissertation: The Early Cretaceous planktonic foraminifera south of the USSR.

Lectures and conducts workshops on the courses of Invertebrate Paleontology, micropaleontology. For several years conducted geological practices with students in Moscow, Crimea and Germany, as well as German students from the University of Greifswald in Crimea and Moscow.
