Biography Mushtari Hamid Muzaffarovich
Hamid Muzaffarovich Mushtari was born July 22, 1900 in the city of Orenburg, in the teacher's family. Cnachala went to school at the orphanage, then in the 2 high school boys Kazan. In 1918 he graduated from high school with a gold medal in the same year he entered the Physics and Mathematics of Kazan University. In 1920, the state of health is transferred to the Central Asian University in Tashkent. Graduating from university in 1923, Mushtari returned to Kazan.
In 1925, X. Mushtari enters graduate school at Moscow University. In 1929 he defended his Candidate's thesis, and this year the entire scientific and pedagogical activity is connected with Kazan Mushtari. He was for many years headed the Department of Theoretical Mechanics of the Kazan Institute of Engineers public works, Kazan Aviation Institute, later the Kazan Institute of Chemical Technology.
In 1934-1938 years X. Mushtari laid the foundations of the nonlinear theory of thin shells, on which in 1938 defended his doctoral dissertation at Moscow University.
From 1946 to 1972 Mushtari is the director of Physical-Technical Institute, Kazan Branch of the USSR and until 1976 headed by the department of the theory of shells of the Institute.
Hamid Muzaffarovichem written over a hundred works included in the golden fund mechanics. He created the well-known scientific school, has trained more than 8 doctors and 30 candidates of sciences.
Merits H.M. Mushtari were appreciated: he was awarded the Order of Lenin, Red Banner of Labor, Badge of Honor and medals, he was awarded the title of Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Tatarstan and Russia.
