Biography BRABORKOV Peter
A little-known author of Bulgaria, who worked in 1870-1890-ies. His survey of the temple at the Shipka Pass was made by order of the Russian architect-designer of the building. Known to us includes a series of five shots of the building in the landscape: mountains in the background, with a panoramic view of the valley, with vertical accentuation bell, drawing attention to decor and unusual rhythm domes. Judging by the optics used and the calm, measured rhythm of the plans within the composition, Mr. Braborkov began to work more with the "old school" of landscape photos submitted by names such as Gustave Le Gray, Carleton E. Watkins, "old masters" home Alinari and others.
