Bogomolov Vladimir Osipovich

Born on July 3 in Kirillovo Moscow region into a peasant family.

In 1941, Mr.. from school went to the front, was wounded. In the postwar years he worked and studied. In 1958, Mr.. graduated from the Higher Party School of Journalism.

Literary career began with writing poetry: in 1955. published a collection of poems for children. Bogomolov brought fame story "Ivan", written in 1958. (A. Tarkovsky filmed in 1962. - Ivan's Childhood). Author of a series of stories - "First Love" (1958), "Heart of my pain" (1965), "Zosia" (1965).

The most significant work of the writer is a novel, "In August of 44" or "The Moment of Truth", who had considerable success. Roman filmed on the border of two millennia.
