Lavrenyov Boris Andreyevich (real name - Sergeev) (1891-1959), novelist, playwright.
Born on July 5 (17 NS) in Kherson in the family of the teacher-language and literature. Schoolboy ran away from home, found work on a ship and left for overseas trip.
