Agapeev Aleksandr Petrovich (1868 - 1904), professor of the Academy of General Staff, Colonel, one of the most educated and brave companions Admiral Makarov during his stay in Port Arthur. Agapeev served as chief of the Military Department headquarters Makarova and died with him on "Petropavlovsk". Agapeev was an outstanding expert in military affairs and military history.
