ANTUAR de VRENKUR Charles-Nicolas d'ANTHOUARD de VRAINCOURT Charles-Nicolas (1773-1852) - Earl. Major general. Son of Captain Picardian Regiment. 1789. - Cubleytenant artillery. 1790 g. - Lieutenant. May 18, 1792, Mr.. received the rank of captain and assistant chief of the Army Artillery Park South. Served under Captain Bonaparte in Toulon. Participated in the Italian and Egyptian expeditions. Wounded at the siege of Saint-Jean-d'Akra, and in the protection of Alexandria. On his return to France in 1801, Mr.. was approved at the rank of brigade commander, and transferred to the Italian army as the first Adjutant Eugene Beauharnais. 1806. - Brigadier. 1809. participated in the Battle of Wagram. 1810 g. received the title of Count and the rank of major general. Was by the acting military governor of the Illyrian provinces. 1811 g. - Chief of Artillery Corps of the Italian observational. 1812. - Artillery Commander 4 th (Italian) Infantry Corps Eugene Beauharnais. He fought under the island, Smolensk and Moscow, was wounded during the retreat.
As of 16 July 1813. he was again acting military governor of the Illyrian provinces. Remained in Italy until the abdication of Napoleon. After the Restoration - Commander of the Order Sv.Lyudovika and appointed Inspector General of Artillery. During the Hundred Days, remained in Italy. After the second Restoration he held various official posts. From 1822, Mr.. in stock. Since 1831, Mr.. participated in several commissions of artillery. 1831 g. - Knight Grand Cross of the Legion of Honor and was elevated to the dignity of peer of France. 1841 g. again went into reserve. 1848. Retired. His name was engraved on the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.
