Mezheninov Sergei Alexandrovich (7.1.1890, Kashira - 28.9.1937), military leader, Corps Commander (1935). The son of a nobleman. He twice shot himself but survived and hospitalized. Immediately thereafter, a number of intelligence officers have written to him denunciations, accusing it of spying for Germany, and was arrested on 20.6.1937 Mezheninov straight to hospital.
