Uglanov Nikolai (5.12.1886, s Feodoritskoe Ryabinskogo County Yaroslavl province - 31.5.1937), party and state leaders. The son of a peasant. Educated in a rural school. From 1898, he worked as a trainee in a warehouse, a clerk (St. Petersburg). Member of the Revolution of 1905-07. In 1907 joined the RSDLP, Bolshevik. In 1908 - 1911 he served in the Army, noncommissioned officer. From 1912 worked as a clerk in St. Petersburg. In 1913-14 before. union business officials Petersburg. In 1914, drafted into the army. In 1916, discharged for injuries. In 1917, Secretary of the Petrograd Union of Commerce and Industry employees. In 1918-20 before. Commission on Organization supply detachments, before. Petrograd District Commission against desertion, then Commissioner in the army. Directly involved in the organization of counter-insurgency operations in the countryside. Member of the suppression of the Kronstadt rebellion (1921). On 21.2.1921 secretary of the Petrograd Provincial Committee of the RCP (b).
