Tsikhon Anton Mikhailovich (14.5.1887, d Olszewski Vilnius province - 7.3.1939), trade union and statesman. The son of a peasant. Educated in elementary school. From 1901 turners metalworker. Since 1927 a candidate member in 1930-34 a member of the Central Committee of the CPSU (b). In 1928-30 before. Central Building Trades. From 3/8/1930 USSR People's Commissar of Labor. In 1930-34 a member of the Organizing Bureau of the Central Committee. 23/6/1933 Commissariat was abolished and its functions transferred to the All, and T. appointed before. The Trade Union Railway. Since 1934 he worked in the Soviet Control Commission (KSC), in 1934-38 a member of its Bureau. Since 1935 KSK authorized by the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic. 10/8/1937 withdrawn and transferred to the apparatus KSC. 2.8.1938 released from work and arrested on 21.8.1938. Sentenced to death. Shot. In 1954, rehabilitated in 1962, reinstated in the party.
