BERENDS Herman (Behrends)

BERENDS, Herman (Behrends), (1907-1946), a high-ranking Nazi party and state leaders. BERENDS was the first head of the Berlin Security Service (SD). Over time, was promoted Brigadefuhrer CC (Major General). He was appointed head of "Volksdeutsche mittelshtelle" (VOMI) - Control Germanic racial promotion "in Yugoslavia. He was hanged in Belgrade in 1946.
