Biography Gauger, Martin (Gauger)
Gauger, Martin (Gauger), (1905-1941), a member of the group Kreysau. In 1934, as district attorney in Munich-Gladbach, he refused to take oath of allegiance to Hitler, for which he was dismissed from his post. Then, working in Counsel Bekentniskirhe, he joined the resistance movement. In May 1940, Gauger crossed the Rhine to get to the Netherlands, but was in the hands of the SS, had already entered the territory of this country. He was sent to the Buchenwald concentration camp, where he died July 14, 1941.
