Biography REYTSH Hannah (Reitsch)
Reytsh, Hannah (Reitsch), (1912-1979), widely known in the Third Reich pilot instructor. Born in Hirschberg, Silesia (now Zielona Gora, Poland) in the family ophthalmologist. Going to work by air doctor, but became a professional pilot, setting a number of European records. In 1937, General Ernst Udet appointed her as the instructor pilot the Luftwaffe. During the 2-nd World War Reytsh was the only woman awarded the Iron Cross II and I degree. 26-29 April 1945 Reytsh accompanied by General Robert von Graham during his visit to fyurerbunkera in Berlin.
