Biography CERT Hans von (Seeckt)
Hans von Sekt (Seeckt) (22.4.1866, Schleswig - 27.12.1936, Berlin), Germanic military and political leader, Colonel-General. In the Army since 1885, graduated from the Military Academy (1899). During the 1-st World War, 1914-18 Chief of Staff, 4 Army (1914-15), 11 th Army (1915), groups of troops operating against Serbia (1915-16), Romania (1916) and Russia (1917 ) from December 1917 to the end of the war chief of General Staff of Turkish Army. In 1919-20 chief of troop control (in fact, the General Staff, which was banned by the Treaty of Versailles). In 1920-26 Head of the Army (Chief of the Reichswehr). Was the creator of professional Reichswehr as a basis for the deployment of mass armies Germany, conducted a secret preparation for production of prohibited weapons in Germany. In autumn 1923, at the time of acute political crisis, concentrated in his hands the whole executive power and suppressed the revolutionary movement. In 1930-32 the Reichstag deputy from the People's Party, was a supporter of the transfer of power to the Nazis. In 1934-35 the Chief Military Adviser in the Germanic military mission in the Kuomintang government of China.
