Brissot de Varvill Jacques Pierre (1754 - 1793) - the son of a prosperous innkeeper. After college, he served first as a clerk at the prosecutor of the Paris Parliament. After returning from England in 1784, Mr.. falls in the Bastille. Coming from there, gets a place known for its liberal views of the Duke of Orleans. At the same time are fastened his acquaintance with Mirabeau, Condorcet, and other future leaders of the revolution. In the revolution Brissot joined as a journalist and writer, publisher of the newspaper "French patriot". In the Legislative Assembly was the leader of the Girondins, the defenders of the interests of large commercial, industrial and financial bourgeoisie coastal cities.
