Great teacher, a brilliant character actress, a talented theatrical director. In the movie played Ogudalovu in "without a Dowry" and the Grandmother in the comedy "Alyosha Ptitsyn produces character."

Without special education, Olga Pyzhova entered the studio of the Moscow Art Theater and soon entered the scene. Participated in performances of "Blue Bird" (Fairy), "The Cherry Orchard (Varya)," Twelfth Night "(Viola and Sebastian)," Mistress of the Inn "(Mirandolina). A great skill combined with actress psychologically profound revelation of images, often painted delicate irony.

The actress has replaced many theaters, but its main hobby was working with the younger generation. Pyzhova taught acting at the studio E. Vakhtangov Studio Theater named after M. Yermolova, then focused on GITIS, and after the war, together with Boris Bibikov the lead actor's workshop in VGIK. She has made an invaluable contribution to the education of several generations of filmmakers. Among her students: N. Mordjukova, R. Nifontova, Mikhail Bulgakov, Vladimir Tikhonov, AN Rumyantsev, S. Druzhinin, L. Kuravlev, S. Chiaureli, T. Nosov, L. Sokolova, M. Vinogradov, T. Semin.

. In 1939, Olga Pyzhova first of the Soviet actress was awarded the title of professor on the faculty of acting.

. For many years led the national Pyzhova studios in GITIS (Karakalpakstan, Uzbek, Tatar, Tajik, Lezgin, Turkmenistan, Moldova)

. In 1928-1934 - actress Revolution. Since 1934 - teacher GITIS. Since 1942 - teacher VGIK. During the war she worked in the theater Mossovet in Alma-Ata, staged performances in the Kazakh Drama Theater named after M. Auezov. In 1948-1950 - the artistic director of the Moscow Central Children's Theater. Since 1949, together with B. Bibikov directed acting workshop fighting positions.
