Yoko Kanno

Yoko Kanno (p. 19/05/1964, Miyagi Prefecture) - Japan's most famous female composer.

For three years Kanno began playing the piano and composing music. At the time of graduation she was already well-established musician and composer, owning all musical styles and a variety of musical instruments (from piano to trumpet).

Kanno his professional career began in 1987 when she became the keyboardist and songwriter of the group "Tetsu 100%" and worked there until the dissolution of the group in 1989.
