Biography Yzerman, Mark Aronovich
Yzerman, Mark Aaronovitch (1913-92), the representative of the first generation of cybernetics in our country, Doctor of Technical Sciences.
From 1939 he worked at the Institute of Automation and robot USSR (later the Institute of Control). In 1946 he defended his doctoral dissertation on the theory of nonlinear control systems. He has made a great contribution to the establishment of computer science and control theory. One of the earliest organized work on pattern recognition, automata theory, theory of choice.
In 1964, for the creation of a universal system of elements of industrial pneumatic awarded the Lenin Prize. Author of works on the theory of automatic control and the theory of differential equations. For many years he headed the department at the Moscow Physical-Technical Institute (MIPT).
