VINOGRADOV, IGOR (p. Born November 10, 1930 in Leningrad. In 1953 he graduated from the Philological Faculty of Moscow State University. In 1958 published the first literary-critical book "Problems of content and form of literary works". In 1960 began working in the department of the magazine critics 'New World', led Tvardovsky, gained a reputation as an objective and uncompromising literary critic democratic direction. Gone from the 'New World' in 1968, after removing Tvardovsky.
Like many members of generation 'sixties' in the 1970's Vinogradov did not participate in official public life. He wrote reviews and articles, doing research in the field of Russian religious philosophy, has lectured at the Literary Institute. Gorky, led a workshop on creative criticism.
