Biography Igor Guberman Mironovich
Guberman, Igor MIRONOVICH (aliases Mironov, Abram Khayyam, and others) (p. 1936)-Russia writer, poet.

Born on July 7 in Moscow. Father - economist. Mother graduated from the conservatory, but did not become a professional musician. Among the nearby ancestors - Peter (Pinchas) Rutenberg - SR-fighter, organizer of the murder priest Gapon

. After graduating from high school Guberman entered the Moscow Institute of Transport Engineers (MIIT), . Guided by well-known in those years, saying: 'if you Hades - comes in Engineering' - there, . Unlike other, . more prestigious universities, . no 'interest rate',
. In 1958 received a diploma in electrical engineering and worked for many years by a specialty. Shortly after graduation, became acquainted with A. Ginsburg - editor-compiler of one of the first 'samizdat' magazines - 'Syntax'. The entire third issue - the poems of Leningrad poets, including the then almost unknown Brodsky - was placed on the materials brought Gubermanom from a business trip to the northern capital. He wrote a foreword to the not withdrawn from the arrest of Ginzburg's fourth issue, where there was much talk about the young talented artist Igor Shibacheve.

At the same time Guberman met with a group of 'lianozovtsev' - Oscar Rabin, L. Krapivnitskaya, G. Sapgir, IV Holin, and people close to this circle: G. Pomeranz philosopher, literary critic L. Pinsky and others. Huberman becomes a hero feuilleton R. Karpel Sewer? 8 ( 'Moskovsky Komsomolets, 29 September 1960) -': engineer Igor Guberman, a well-known fact that he was one of the instigators and organizers of the dirty sheets of handwritten 'Syntax'. , This' leader ', hollow, like an empty barrel, arrogant and narcissist who can not really connect two words, still nurtures the hope of recognition'.

Man was not alone! / Someone is always watching him. - At least in relation to the most Gubermanu this statement, since 1960, sounded quite rightly.

For some time he has successfully combined the work of an engineer with the literary work. He wrote popular science books and documentaries (The Miracles and tragedies of the black box - of the brain and modern psychiatry, 1968; Bekhterev. Pages of life, 1976, etc.), as well as scripts for documentary films. One of the book begins a poem of Joseph Brodsky (of course, without giving names), who was then in exile.

And in 'samizdat' rife poetic miniatures Huberman, later known as 'Garik'. (Garik - household name Igor Mironavich). In particular, from the series "The leaders of the dearer to us twice, / When they are already in the wall", which includes several dozen quatrains. (Godfather was the spirit and the voice set, and it embodied the majority; / he was a great nothingness, / for that, and went into a god, I love the Motherland. But who does not know / what love is fraught with melted torment? / And my native land generously changes / with the dregs, scoundrels and females).

In the 70 Guberman - an active member and author of samizdat journal 'The Jews in the USSR'. People who made this magazine (they were called 'uplifters'), saw its mission to disseminate knowledge of Jewish religion, history and language of his people, the question of emigration is considered a private matter.

In 1978 in Israel were collected circulated clandestinely 'Garik' and published in book. For what was blatantly cataract / eye in the all-seeing eye, in 1979, Huberman was arrested and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment, although the journal 'The Jews in the USSR' ceased publication in 1978. (Art hypothesis about the real reasons for his arrest - in the book of Huberman "Sketches for a portrait). Wanting to avoid another political process (there were too many at the time) authorities 'sewed' Gubermanu criminal article.

In camp he kept a diary, from which then, was born in exile, the book "Walking around the barracks" (1980, published in 1988). 'If only amateur detectives, sharp plot and convoluted plots at once will put aside these scattered notes - the author warns at the beginning of the book and continues the thought: - Do not lethal current camp. Much worse than it was before, comes out of their prisoner. But that is another problem. Boredom, sadness and disgust - the main thing that I experienced there '. There is a book and a description of the deaths of prisoners and enough scary scenes. But its content in another - this story of a man who managed to remain a human, where the humiliation, fear and boredom / person degrade in cattle. It helped clear conscience: the age vile, the more honor / to someone who is not with him at the same time. And the ability to discern a human, even a thief, robber and murderer. (In accordance with Article Guberman was sitting in the criminal camp). Three heroes of the book: The writer, an idler and wheeler-dealer - three hypostasis of the author - help to maintain a sense of humor and not succumb to any depression, nor pride. 'It is good for the soul were the years', - said afterwards Huberman's prose in the memoir, and poetry - his spirit, I once cleared / not a radiant beauty, / and awareness of the dirty truths / and a close encounter with merzotoy.

He returned from Siberia in 1984. Could not be registered not only in Moscow but also in small towns far from the capital for more than 100 km. Until, finally, the poet D. Samoilov not prescribe it at his home in Parnu. The work is almost never given. (Virtually the only exception being the Leningrad Documentary Film Studio).

Output has found the same agency that had created this situation - Huberman was invited to the Visa Office and reported that they consider it appropriate to leave with his family in Israel.

Hardest to leave us out, / Where life is impossible. Since 1988, the Russian writer Guberman, 'Jew, Slav spill' lives in Jerusalem.

In Israel, wrote a novel "Sketches for a portrait". (First published in Russia - in 1994). His hero journalist Ilya Rubin (image frankly autobiographical) collects material for a book about Nicholas Alexandrovich Bruni - fragment 'Silver Age', a man gifted in the Renaissance, executed in 1938 in a Siberian camp. Speaking with his contemporaries, most of them also passed through the camps and exile, Rubin (I mean Guberman) creates a broad historical canvas of the early 20 in. until the mid 70's, when the wheels punitive machine gets sheer Rubin.

In 1996 in Jerusalem came memoirs I. Huberman - "Older Annals, . again - the years, . held in the camp and exile, . about people, . faced by fate: known - D. Samoilov, . M. Svetlov, . Z. Gerdt, . less well known - artists A. Okun, and M. Turov, . Mathematics M. Deza and many are not known, . but something (good or evil) Remember the author,
.

Theme is continued in the "Book of Travel" (Jerusalem, 2001). She again about life in Russia, about the people encountered in the path of life, this time almost exclusively to 'simple' (but each with its 'twist'). And a philosophy of life here - the same as in all works of Huberman - 'With a cold and quiet respect, I am one of those people that rush to tense up and want to catch, reach, climb, get: they want it, and give them to God. And to me this is nothing to nothing '.

Perhaps the only significant difference between the "Books of Travel" from the "old notes" that many pages of "Books" are devoted to reflections on the fate of the Jews. Without claiming to be scientific only in esseistskom genre, Huberman said about his people with deep penetration in his psychology.

No matter how interesting prose Huberman, but still the glory he created, of course, 'Garik'. This contributed to a lot of his statement - 'in concert halls and sports, . in cinemas and cafes, . restaurants and conservatories, . schools and institutes, . theaters and synagogues, . Christian churches in various branches (when there is no evening service), , . meeting rooms and halls of the museum: first in Israel, . then America, . Russia, . Germany: ',
. Number of 'Garikov' has exceeded five thousand. (In fact, the author reckons itself to fans of laziness). Taken together, they form a kind of 'hypertext' - one of the most striking examples of Russian Postmodernism.

Huberman was not an atheist, and certainly not a militant. But not a believer. On the life beyond the grave concern / not torment me: By engaging in the eternal something / will have it's not me. He is ready to accept any truth, even if it turns out that it is contrary to Scripture (: I'm not afraid of anything / if you accidentally touch on the truth), is suspicious of any doctrine, and does not want to be anyone's slave (even God). And - he believes - above suspicion can only be the wife of Caesar (and it is unlikely), the rest can be little doubt. Moral - it's not a chain, and the game / where the choice - necessarily of the whole; basis of a full of goodness - in the freedom of the commission of his

. Artistic techniques of his poems are typical of post-modernism: an ironic paraphrase of known expressions (: I thought, . Investigator, . but I exist), . phraseology give the opposite meaning (: was born in a caul, . that in Russia / always led to a straitjacket), . tsenton (there are women in Russian villages - not on the shoulder one), . abundance of obscene ( 'normative') vocabulary,
.

It is not surprising that not all the critics and not all readers will be delighted by Huberman. Huberman himself takes it for granted - ': right, who praises me, and right, who sprinkles blasphemy'.

Most rated sales of poetry books in the stores in Moscow in 2003 I. Guberman holds second place.
