Biography Oleg Kohan
Place of birth, education. Born in Kiev. In 2001 he graduated from the International Institute of Linguistics and Law, specializing in international economics.
Career. His student years tried his hand at television projects in UT-1, then co-ordinated promotional campaign film festival Stozhary "as head of the advertising department and executive producer. Founder of companies specializing in rostproduction, advertising in cinemas, marketing research in kinosfere and product placement.
. In 2001, he founded and headed the production company "SOTA Cinema Group", the first large-scale projects which became a film directed by Kira Muratova "Two in One
. Ribbon awards were "Nick" (the best film of the CIS and Baltic states in 2007), "White Elephant" and "Golden Apple" (for Best Director).
In 2008 the company became the owner of a specialized advertising awards in the field of cinema distribution "25 frame" in the nominations: best trailer, best ki-art, best tag-line, and improved BTL-campaign for the film K. Muratova "Two in One". Bogdan Stupka and Natalia Buzko been recognized as the best actors of 2007-the first for his work in this picture, and K. Muratova called "living legend of Ukrainian cinema."
. In March 2008, "SOTA Cinema Group" and the studio of documentary and feature films (Poland) started production of world-renowned film director Krzysztof Zanussi "Heart of Palm"
. In April 2008 the first cooperation agreement with producer Philippe Bober. Work has begun on a feature film a well-known documentary filmmaker Sergei Loznica "My Happiness" in the format co-production with Germany, the Netherlands and other international partners.
