Place of birth, education. Born in the village Prygorov Vysokopillya district, Kherson region.

In 1984 he graduated from the Physics Faculty of Kyiv State Shevchenko University (specializing in optics of a rigid body "). Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (1996).

Career. Since 1984 he worked as a Researcher at the Department of Molecular Biophysics, Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Author of more than a hundred scientific publications in molecular biophysics.
