Antanas Yuozovich Snieä-kus born December 25, 1902 (January 7, 1903), in the village Bublyalyay, Lithuania, died Jan. 22, 1974 in Druskininkai, Lithuania.
Born into a peasant family. From 1919 he worked as a technician at the telegraph office, and in 1920-21 headed the underground committee KP Alytus Lithuania (PPC).
In 1921-25 he worked in the publishing house of the Central Committee of the CPL in Smolensk, in 1925-26 in the representation of the CPL at the Board of the Comintern (ECCI). After the fascist coup in Lithuania (December 1926) on the underground work in Kaunas, co-opted member of the Central Committee of the CPL, was secretary of the Central Committee of the.

Hero of Socialist Labor (1973). Awarded 8 Orders of Lenin, 3 other orders and medals.
