Boris Babayan Artashecovich

Artashecovich Boris Babayan was born December 20, 1933 in Baku.

In 1957 graduated from the Moscow Physics and Technology (MIPT) to engineer-physicist.

Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor (teaching at MIPT), corresponding member of the Russia Academy of Sciences, an expert in the field of computer technology.

Supervisor LLP Moscow Center for SPARC-technologies and the chief designer of developed systems. In the team is developing the modern architecture of computers, microprocessors are designed. Work carried out jointly with foreign firms and domestic orders.

General Designer of high performance computers of the family "Elbrus". The main achievement considers the creation of modern architecture, instruction set and software high-performance microprocessors.

Publications in domestic and foreign publications devoted to problems of designing the architecture of computers.

Candidate Master of Sports in mountaineering. Favorite kind of recreation - mountain skiing.
