Born Aug. 8, 1943 in g. Baku Jew. His father was a professor, doctor of medical sciences, chair of the Azerbaijan Therapy Institute of Postgraduate Medical. My mother was a professor, head of the Department of English at the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages.
In 1966 he graduated from the Baku Medical Institute. In 1970 he graduated from the graduate school at Baku University Advanced Medical specialty "Psychology and Psychiatry.
