Pavich: the law on the prohibition of Nazism? Splashy PR move by Kiev

The Verkhovna Rada on Thursday adopted a law recognizing " the Organization of Ukrainian nationalists and the Ukrainian insurgent army (UPA) fighters for independence of Ukraine in the twentieth century and provided the right of its members to social guarantees. On the same day the Parliament passed a law banning the Communist and the national socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes in Ukraine and their symbolism.
"What they're trying to distance themselves from Nazism, only words. Real, tangible action Is the actual adjustment of Ukraine, the Ukrainian national identity and neo-Nazi extremism, " said Pavich.
"This so-called European values in action. A year and a half ago, Ukraine, may have been corrupt, but she was not a neo-Nazi.
