Imports of chicken meat from Ukraine will limit in the Crimea from July
The limitation on the importation of chicken meat from Ukraine will limit in the Crimea from July to prevent re-exportation of products from USA, Canada and countries in Europe, informs the press service of the Crimean Department of the Rosselkhoznadzor.
Crimean representatives of the food business has already announced that from 1 July 2015 the import of chicken meat from Ukraine to the Crimea will be made only with certified factories.
"This is due to the need to stop the numerous attempts of supplies to the Peninsula the territory of the neighboring country of re-export products from USA, Canada and European countries ", - reported in the report of the press service.
The Rosselkhoznadzor took this step in order to reduce the risk of skidding in the Crimea of avian influenza, outbreaks of which have become more frequent in European countries.
Entrepreneurs engaged in the import of poultry through the Ukrainian intermediaries, it is recommended to directly contract with the Ukrainian manufacturers, certified in the Rosselkhoznadzor.
Thus in the Ministry assured that the innovation will not affect the volume of supply of these items in the Crimean region.
