Kosachev: international techniques cannot be implemented in "sanctions" countries
"Sad Finnish experience has demonstrated that in the future the smooth holding of international events can only be in States not participating in the sanctions decision, said the head of the international Department of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev.
Finland did not want to give permission to enter under the punishments of the Russian deputies, including the speaker of the state Duma Sergei Naryshkin, to participate in the summer session of the OSCE PA, in response to this step, the delegation of the Russian Federation has decided in full force not to go to Helsinki.
"The conclusion from today's scandal (the non-admission of the Russian Parliament at the session of the OSCE PA from Finland): in the future, the smooth holding of international events can be sad considering the Finland experience only in States not participating in the sanctions decisions," Kosachev wrote on his page in Facebook.
Western countries since March 2014 several times already imposed penalties because Russia's position on Ukraine. In March 2015 has been extended sanctions List of the USA, and in June the sanctions List of Canada. In addition, on 22 June, the head of the EU foreign Ministers meeting in Luxembourg have extended the economic sanctions until 31 January 2016.
