International animated film festival "KROK" starts in the capital of Russia
International animated film festival " KROK-2015 ", which will participate animators from 44 countries, opens on Sunday in the capital of Russia and will be held in the cabin of the ship " Konstantin Simonov ", following the route of the Dubna - Cherepovets Gorica - Petrozavodsk - St. Petersburg, said the press service of the festival.
in previous years, the "CROC" since its founding in 1989 was carried out on a parity basis by 2 countries - Russia and Ukraine - and took place at a time in one country. This year the festival has become a Russian, its founders are the Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation the Union of cinematographers of the Russian Federation.
The Grand opening event will be held in the Central house of cinematographers.
in the competition program of the festival selected 175 films from 44 countries: Australia, Argentina, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Britain, Germany, Israel, India, Spain, Italy, Canada, China, Mexico, Netherlands, Peru, Poland, Portugal, the USA, Thailand, Ukraine, France, Switzerland, Estonia, South Africa, Japan and other.

Special events "crock-2015" dedicated to the anniversaries of landmark films: the 45th anniversary of the cartoon "Hedgehog in the fog" by Yuri Norstein, "Winnie the Pooh" by Fyodor Khitruk, " Well, wait!" Vyacheslav Catenaccio, the 80th anniversary of the "New Gulliver" by Alexander Ptushko, the 50th anniversary of the film "Vovka far away" Stepantsev. During the festival there will also be retrospectives, thematic programs, seminars and round tables.
