An interdepartmental working group had agreed on a road map of the MariNet project, which will be developed and distributed systems Maritime transport without crew. Recognized the project, Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich and the Russian presidential aide Andrei Belousov.

As told "Izvestia", originally in Vladivostok will be launched a pilot project of digital navigation. Then the technology of control of the ship without a crew will be tested on virtual models. By 2021 it is planned the creation of the first civilian unmanned vessel. In the project it is planned to invest a billion.
Remember that the MariNet is implemented in the framework of the state presidential programme "national technology initiative". It was announced by the head of state as 1 of the priorities of the state policy in a letter to the Federal Assembly on 4 December 2014.
