Kings of Leon star Nathan Followill has married his long-term girlfriend
The drummer and singer/songwriter Jessie Baylin tied the knot on Saturday (14.11.09) at Wolf Den Farm in Tennessee in front of friends and family, including his bandmates and actress Scarlett Johansson.
The band`s representative said: "The wedding was beautiful. It was a gorgeous, 70-degree day. It was a very love-affirming wedding with lots of warmth and happiness."
Guests enjoyed food catered for by local Nashville restaurant Miel, while the couple?` first dance was to an instrumental Hawaiian lap steel guitar tune.
Following the wedding, Nathan spoke of his joy at tying the knot, writing on his Twitter page: "I woke up with a married woman in my bed this morning. Luckily, she was mine."
Before the nuptials, the 30-year-old rocker - who began dating Jessie in 2006 - told of his excitement at becoming a married man.
He said: "This time tomorrow night I will be wearing some new jewelry. I`m so excited for tomorrow. A new day, a new life, and a new wife. Thanks Jess."
