Roskomnadzor has blocked Rutracker.org
Roscomnadzor will monitor the appearance of "mirror" copies of web sites - the torrent tracker Rutracker.org blocked forever by the decision of the court on 9 November. This was announced to reporters by the head of Department Alexander Zharov, reports "Interfax".
"As in all remaining cases, if will appear "mirror", copy the locked resource, of course, we will consider it as a migration resource and also will block", - he said.
Taking into account the opinion of the head of Roskomnadzor, the buck will not save Rutracker web site: most average users, go to the resource and seeing it blocked, would prefer finding information on other websites.
"Quite a while ago in another similar unit resides resource Rutor.org and we can see that the audience from the stage of the lock fell to 2-thirds," said Zharov. He added that "somehow the lock works".
The head of Roskomnadzor stressed that the regulator had done everything to prevent a lifetime lock Rutracker.
"We inspired the holders to the talks, we have ensured that the adepts Rutracker visited Moscow and participated in these negotiations. The explanation we have had only one: whereas, several 10-s million people use this resource, we wanted him switched to the "light side" and became legal. But, sadly, the talks have stalled," explained Zharov, adding that none of the claims of rightholders the administration of the resource had not been enforced.
November 9, the Moscow city court ruled on life blocking the torrent tracker Rutracker.org. The pretext was illegally posted on the resource hyperlinks to download books Darya Dontsova and Alexander Gromov. The court will enter into force upon the expiration of 30 days period or after consideration of the appeal claim. In addition, the administration of the torrent tracker flatly refused to personally appeal the decision of the Moscow city court, advising users to do this themselves.
