Constitutional court of South Korea upheld the decision of the National Assembly of the country about the arrest of President Park Geun-Hye on charges of corruption.
The unprecedented decision was unanimous, and all 8 judges voted to remove the Park of the first President, from his post. South Koreans immediately took to the streets, some groups protested against this decision, while others noted her removal from power. The decision was taken by judge Lee Jung-mi on Friday live, which covered the whole country. "We announce this decision with the unanimous opinion of all the judges. We release the defendant from office of the President," said Lee.
