In the US the man was carrying cobras in the banks of potato chips
In the USA a man was arrested on suspicion in illegal import of snakes and other reptiles after banks of potato chips was discovered 3 deadly king cobras, according to a press release from the district attorney of Los Angeles.
Rodrigo Franco, was taken into custody after U.S. customs and border protection checked the package from Hong Kong and found three live snakes with a length of 2 feet, scored in cans for potato chips.
Goralskie Cobra is protected in accordance with the Law on endangered species, and their import or export is prohibited in accordance with the Convention on international trade in endangered species of wild fauna and flora under threat of extinction. In addition to the snakes, the package sent via the postal service of the United States, contained three albinowski Chinese turtles. Franco also sent a pack of 6 turtles from the U.S. to Hong Kong, but the shipment was intercepted by the wildlife service of the United States.
The snake was seized by customs because of the danger they posed, but the turtle was taken to the suspect's house in Monterey Park, California, where the address of the RAID went special agents from the wild in the United States. 34-year-old Franco was accused of illegal import of goods into the United States. During a subsequent interview with authorities, Franco said he sent 20 king cobras in the two previous games, but all of these snakes are killed on the way. Franco faces 20 years in prison.
