Victoria and David Beckham are considering adopting a baby girl
The singer-turned-fashion designer has made no secret of her desire to have a daughter after giving birth to three boys. The pair have been trying to conceive their fourth child without success recently, so they have now started discussing adoption. Victoria`s slim frame and fertility problems have made it difficult for her to get pregnant in the past, and she is keen to consider other ways to expand her brood.
"Victoria has been keen to get pregnant for a while," a source told Closer magazine. "She has polycystic ovaries so in reality she`s been lucky to have had three healthy boys and now she`s thinking it`s time to consider adoption. She`s been told she could do with gaining weight to conceive, but Vic`s tired of being made to feel something` wrong with her."
David has tattoos in tribute to his sons Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, seven, and five-year-old Cruz and had been keeping a space on his arm for when the couple had a daughter. However, he recently unveiled a new inking of a renaissance painting on his left arm, fuelling speculation the couple are giving up hope of having another biological baby.
David is open to adopting a child after feeling inspired by his close friend Tom Cruise, who has two adopted kids. The soccer star has always dreamed of having a big family and the couple are considering expanding their brood next year.
"David loves being a dad and having the boys running around the house," the source added. "Having a little girl at home would be the icing on the cake. Both him and Victoria are open to having a non-biological baby, it doesn`t faze them. They are thinking about next year when his soccer career won`t be as hectic."
