Russian Ambassador in Belgrade Alexander Chepurin took part in commemorative ceremonies in connection with the bombing of Serbia in 1999, noting the lack of ceremony, diplomats from countries involved in the bombing.
The main memorial ceremony with the participation of the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, President of the Republic of Srpska in Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik and members of the Serbian government took place in the evening on the first day weekend in the town of Aleksinac in the South of the country, which was badly damaged by bombing in April and may 1999.
