Russell Brand: Katy has final say on wedding
Russell Brand wants a soccer-themed wedding.
The British comedian is planning to wed US singer Katy Perry later this year. Russell is a diehard supporter of English Premier League team West Ham, and would love to have his wedding reception decked out in the side?s claret and blue colours.
Unfortunately for Russell, Katy is not so keen on the idea. Although she titillated him by wearing a West Ham corset and panties when she hosted the MTV Europe Music Awards last year, Katy has reportedly refused to agree to Russell`s dream of a sporty wedding.
"I can`t go, `Right we`re wearing claret and blue, we`re holding it at the ground, all the usherettes are going to be the ICF.` They`re not going to have that."
The ICF are the Inner City Firm, a gang of soccer hooligans associated with West Ham.
Russell and Katy have refused to reveal any details about their upcoming nuptials, which are thought to be taking place in India. Russell did say the plans were coming along nicely, even though he was letting Katy make all the big decisions.
"I think they are going really, really well - we`re both involved in it, like it`s both our wedding, but I think girls get final say on weddings," he told British newspaper website mirror.co.uk.
