The commander of emergency stranded A321 apologized to the passengers


The commander of emergency stranded in a field of the liner "the Ural airlines" Damir Yusupov admitted that he feels a little guilty in front of the passengers and apologized for not bringing them in Simferopol.

"A little guilty that it happened so that they are not delivered to destination" - He told reporters at a press conference in Yekaterinburg.

He also wished the injured passengers a speedy recovery.

The A321 aircraft "Ural airlines" with 226 passengers and seven crew members in the cabin performing flight from Moscow to Simferopol. Immediately After takeoff the engine of the ship was hit by a flock of seagulls. The pilots decided to urgently sit in a corn field near the village of Rybinsk.

The plane successfully landed with the engine off and removed the chassis. The crew evacuated passengers on inflatable ladders. After the accident, 75 people, and among them 19 children, sought medical assistance.

The actions of the crew of the aircraft is highly considered as politicians and the media, and ordinary citizens. Pilots called heroes, but the Yusupov explained that did not consider themselves so because they do their own professional duty.
