Cheryl Cole reveals eyebrow error

Cheryl Cole says trying to pluck her eyebrows tolook like Marilyn Monroe`s was a "disaster".

The Girls Aloud singer is renowned for her flawless appearance, but insists she doesn`t spend a lot of time getting ready. If she isn`t working, she can have her hair and make-up done in 20 minutes. The star is very particular about her clothes, and doesn`t usually rely on a stylist.

"I couldn`t think of anything worse than someone else plucking my eyebrows! I ask make-up people what shape they should be though, as I had a disaster last year," she explained. "I tried to pluck them like Marilyn Monroe`s. I saw a programme on her and I was like, She`s amazing! I want her eyebrows.` But I went too far! Everyone was asking if I`d had Botox."

Cheryl, 26, doesn`t believe in using expensive lotions and potions to improve her skin, but admits her beauty routine is unusual. Many people insist sleep is essential to a healthy appearance, but Cheryl doesn`t agree and sees nothing wrong with having short snoozes.

"I`m a terrible sleeper. If I get four hours of sleep - no tossing and turning - that`s enough for me," she told Company magazine. "Sometimes I`ll get up at 4.35am and then I`m not back in til midnight."
