Russia`s iron and steel industry to benefit from WTO accession
The Russian iron and steel industry will likely benefit from Russia`s joining the World Trade Organization
Head of the trade negotiations department of the Russian Economic Development and Trade Ministry Maxim Medvedkov has announced at a round table meeting on Russia`s accession to the WTO. He stressed that Russia is now suffering discriminative measures, losing around USD2.5bn a year, and the iron and steel industry accounts for USD1.5bn of this amount.
