Cheryl Cole and Nadine Coyle are preventing Girls Aloud from reuniting
Kimberley Walsh - who is also joined in the British girl group by Sarah Harding and Nicola Roberts - has claimed the band can`t get back together because the `Promise This` hitmaker is "busy" with her solo career and `X Factor` commitments, while Nadine is very rarely in the UK.
Kimberley said: "It`s not down to me. It`s all of us - Cheryl`s busy and Nadine`s not in the country, so it`s difficult.
"I don`t think it`ll be long and we do really miss each other, so hopefully it will be soon. The last actual Girls Aloud thing we did was the Coldplay gig at Wembley Stadium, which was a year ago last September."
Although the girls have already gone over their planned year-long hiatus - which began in July 2009 so they could pursue individual projects - the 29-year-old pop beauty is adamant it is still everyone`s ultimate goal to reunite Girls Aloud in the near future.
She added in an interview on UK station BBC Radio 1: "It has been a while but it really does fly by because we`ve all been doing so many different things. It`s all of our main priority, we all absolutely love the band.
"We`ve been really lucky to get to the point where we can take a break and try other things but we definitely will get back and do some more things. I really do miss the girls."
